In today’s post-Covid environment, and with judicial vacancies in New Jersey at historic highs, litigants and courts are increasingly looking to Alternative Dispute Resolution (“ADR”) techniques as time-saving, cost effective vehicles for resolving disputes.
Thomas C. Miller, (A.J.S.C.) (Ret.), founded Thomas C. Miller Mediation & Arbitration, LLC, following his retirement from the Superior Court bench in January 2022. Michael F. O’Neill, (J.S.C.) (Ret.) founded Michael F. O’Neill Mediation & Arbitration LLC, after his retirement from the Superior Court bench in February 2023. In mid-2023, Judges Miller and O’Neill collaborated on the creation of the Sidebar Solutions website — with the goal of highlighting a full complement of ADR Services offered to the bench and bar. Julie M. Marino ( P.J.S.C.) (Ret.) joined Sidebar Solutions following her retirement from the New Jersey Superior Court bench in January 2024.
